The 2026 FIFA World Cup™ Draw Is Coming

Get ready, soccer fans, the road to the biggest World Cup in history is about to begin! The official draw for the 2026 FIFA World Cup™ will take place on Friday, December 5, 2025, at the legendary Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. 🇺🇸

You can catch all the excitement live, in the United States, the 2026 FIFA World Cup draw will be broadcast in Spanish on Telemundo, Universo, and the Peacock streaming platform. For English-language coverage, check out Fox Sports, starting at 11:30 AM ET / 8:30 AM PT, On that day, the teams will discover their rivals at the start of the tournament in the United States, Mexico, and Canada in the summer of 2026.

The draw will go down at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, one of the most iconic cultural landmarks in the U.S. The event will bring together FIFA President Gianni Infantino, officials from the three host nations, coaches, ambassadors, and fans from the 16 host cities.
This ceremony is much more than a draw: it marks the official start of the countdown to the World Cup. With 48 teams and 104 matches, this edition will be the largest and most ambitious in football history. We’ll also learn how the 48 national teams will be divided into 12 groups of four, a completely new format for the tournament.

And of course, the three host nations already know their spots:
🇲🇽 Mexico will lead Group A
🇨🇦 Canada will head Group B
🇺🇸 United States will take Group C
This setup guarantees that all three host countries will light up their home crowds right from the start!
The Road to the Final 🏆

Each team will play three group-stage matches, with the top two from each group, plus the eight best third-placed teams, advancing to the Round of 32. From there, it’s win or go home all the way to the final, which will take place on July 19, 2026, at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
