Scott-Vincent Borba’s story sounds like something out of a movie: co-founder of a global brand like e.l.f. Cosmetics, surrounded by celebrities, living in a mansion in the Hollywood Hills, and with millions in his bank account. The kind of life many dream of having. That was the daily life of Scott-Vincent Borba.
But something inside him was not at peace. At 52 after having “won” everything the world has to offer he felt a void that no achievement could fill. And that’s where the real plot twist began, he decided to give it ALL up. He sold his lifestyle, stepped away from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood, and chose a simple room in a seminary. On May 23, 2026, in the Diocese of Fresno, California, he was ordained a Catholic priest. 🙏
Many might think it was an impulsive decision, but the truth is, it was a response to something far greater. Today, his life no longer revolves around luxury, ad campaigns, events, or money; today, his life is dedicated to serving, listening to, accompanying, and helping those who need it most. And as he himself has shared that is where he found a happiness that is more real, more sincere; for not everything that glitters in Hollywood actually illuminates the heart. ⛪
