On Saturday, November 1, the Dodgers pulled off an unforgettable comeback at Toronto’s Rogers Centre to capture the 2025 World Series, going back to back after their 2024 crown and cementing their place as one of baseball’s modern dynasties.
Toronto fans thought this was their moment. Up 3-0 after Bo Bichette’s third inning homer, the Blue Jays were just two outs away from ending a 32-year title drought. But the Dodgers refused to quit. Miguel Rojas, of all people, blasted his first homer of the postseason to tie the game in the ninth, sending it into extra innings.
Then, in the 11th, Will Smith stepped up and crushed a solo shot that sealed a stunning 5-4 victory, his name now etched in Dodger legend.
With this win, Los Angeles Dodgers claims its eighth World Series title (1955, 1959, 1963, 1965, 1981, 1988, 2020, 2024, and now 2025) and becomes the first team in 25 years to repeat as champions. ⚾ 🏆
