“Wrapped” is Apple Music Replay: it’s the statistics of what you listen to throughout the year

Apple Music Replay is essentially a system that analyzes your listening data throughout the year and turns it into an interactive visual report. Think of it as an algorithm that tracks your musical behavior, identifies patterns, and translates your history into a kind of “digital profile” of the listener you were in 2025. So, if you use Apple Music, this feature shows you what you listened to most, who your most loyal artists were, which songs you played endlessly, and how your tastes changed over the months. Replay uses metrics like the number of plays, listening time, how often you revisit certain artists, and how your taste evolves over time. It’s like Spotify’s popular Wrapped, but the Apple version, with its own unique vibe and design. 🍏

The cool thing is that Replay continuously records everything you listen to throughout the year. No pauses or interruptions: every song counts. With this information, Replay generates a personalized playlist and an interface that displays your top songs, your discoveries, the dominant genres, and those artists that your algorithm considers “loyal” because you listen to them repeatedly year after year. 🎧

Accessing this analysis is easy from the Apple Music app: just go to the Home tab and scroll down until you find Replay. There, tap “Go Back in Time,” and you’re all set to explore your musical history. You can also access it from any browser by going to replay.music.apple.com; just remember to log in.

If your Replay doesn’t appear, don’t panic. It’s almost always because the app or your system isn’t updated, or because the “Use Listening History” option isn’t enabled. In short: make sure you have the latest version and enable this feature in your Apple Music settings, whether on your iPhone, Mac, or Android device. 📱

As for the most-streamed tracks, Apple revealed that “APT” by ROSÉ and Bruno Mars was the reigning song of the year. And Tyler, The Creator was crowned Artist of the Year with an insane 4.5 billion minutes of playback. Not a bad way to close out 2025.

While users receive this interactive and beautiful dashboard, artists get their own analytics: audience growth, cities where they’re most played, countries connected, and total minutes played. It’s the other side of the system, where Apple delivers insights so creators can understand the impact of their music. 🎼

In short, Apple Music Replay is a data-driven behavioral analysis that turns your musical year into an interactive dashboard. If you’re a music and tech fan, it’s basically your sonic digital footprint in report form. Have you checked it out yet?
